Belgium may be a tiny country, but its little towns and villages pack a wide range of delights to explore and assimilate. International students in Leuven often end up visiting the larger, well known cities such as Brussels, Antwerp, Brugge, Ghent and Oostende. But, it can also be fun to take the time out to visit less known and smaller places which have many hidden surprises, while giving one the opportunity to actually explore the beautiful countrysides of Belgium.

A successful and valuable experience, you will agree.

A place where empires have risen and fallen, intelligentsia were praised and exiled... Now stop thinking and take a low-cost flight to Latvia, then sit on a night train or bus, and the following morning awake in St. Petersburg, the crown jewel of the Russian Federation.

madridMadrid is everything and everything is Madrid. Known for its hospitality, Madrid completely breaks with the cliché that a large city may be cold and soulless. On the contrary, Madrid is an amalgam of cultures, peoples, customs and races, forms of entertainment and philosophies of life. It is the city where everyone finds their place. If there is something I love about Madrid, it is that everyone is used to everyone coming from somewhere else.
