On May 1st, Leuven saw the beginning of its 6th annual International Documentary Film Festival. The festival, which ran for a week, showcased numerous documentaries from around the world as well as ones from Belgium. This year, new categories were added, and a rise in ticket sales confirmed the growing popularity of the festival.

Students and staff at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven had the pleasure of listening to a lecture by the Irish poet on 22 March.

Tet, Vietnamese New Year took place February 14th, on Valentines day. In Leuven each year, the association of Vietnamese students, Vinakul, organises the greatest Vietnamese Newyear party in Belgium. LOKO international was there to taste the colourful food, have a nice chat and be amused by games that went beyong imagination.
